Q. I have completed tuning using the Automemory function (detailed on page 16 of the user guide) however the picture appears as though it has not been fully tuned for optimum clarity
A. The automemory function scans all frequencies, assigning each signal to a channel number in the order they are detected, some channel signals can be picked up from other areas of the country therefore not providing an optimal signal, use the ch / button at the top of the remote control to view each channel in turn, you may find that the channel has been detected twice and that the stronger optimal signal has been placed on a higher channel.

Q. I have completed tuning using the Automemory function and checked all channels which have a signal present, however the picture isn't as sharp as expected or appears grainy
A. The autotune function attempts to lock on to the strongest signal, in some cases tweaking is required using the manual fine tune function. other electrical and magnetic items in close proximity can cause distortion and a multi driectional antenna is recommended in areas with surrounding high rise buildings and obstructions. the picture quality can be checked by using a DVD player with a scart connection

Q. I have attempted to tune using the automemory function but after channel scanning has completed, no channels were found.
A. Assuming that the antenna used to receive the signal is a tested and working outdoor aerial, manual tuning may be necessary to find and store each channel.

Q. The picture is fine, but I have no sound
A. Ensure that the speakers have been plugged in correctly, that the Television has not been muted and the volume level is suitably high. if possible test with a set of headphones using the socket at the rear of the unit.

Q. My time is incorrect on the plasma screen how do I adjust this
A. When the time is being displayed after pressing the yellow 'CLK' button on the remote, use the left/right up/down buttons to set the time.

Q. I am using the Picture in picture function but the channels are not being displayed live.
A. When using the picture in picture function with more than one channel, it updates the picture every few seconds instead of displaying it live.
